Odd Shot Radio

This is a cropped image of an advertising board found outside a shop in Bergen, Norway. Except for the rather obvious fact that the text is in English and not Norwegian (very common behaviour in advertising circles), one might suggest some reasons for this text:
  • The writer is a fan of Woody Allen's film Radio Days
  • The writer thought the radio was designed for Tolkien's Ents
  • The writer is a fan of Fred Flintstone from Bedrock City ( no, then it would have been called Rocky Radio)
I'm sure that the participants in Odd Shot can think of more convincing explanations.
