Air Show Begins
The Dubai Air Show begins today. The highlight of the show is the part where all the oil sheiks get to bet on which plane the local terrorists will try to hijack.



China-U.S. Partnership
President Obama and China's President Hu Jintao say they envision a cooperative future between their two countries. In other words, China will keep lending us money and we'll eventually try to make houses out of their big screen TV's.



Sex Tourism Arrest
A New Jersey man has been arrested for travelling to Thailand to have sex with boys. New Jersey says it just can't afford to lose the sales tax revenue.



Board of Ed Chief Dead
The body of Chicago Board of Education President Michael Scott was found in the Chicago river Monday. Scott might have known that it was too cold and dangerous to swim in the Chicago river, had he not been educated in a Chicago public school.



Recession Results
The New York Times is reporting that the recession is bridging the racial divide in rural Georgia. For example, black people in one county are now welcoming the Klan to burn crosses at their homes, just to cut down on their heating bills!

1511: Spain and England ally against France... mostly by giving France a big wedgie in front of the rest of Europe.


1659: The Peace of the Pyrenees is signed between France and Spain... so it only took 148 years for France to forget about the wedgie thing.


1800: The United States Congress holds its first session in Washington, D.C... the city opens its first brothel 15 minutes later.


2004: Kmart announces it is buying Sears for $11 billion and naming the newly merged company "We're Selling Crap!"
