900 meters above sea level

Last weekend we celebrated Ole´s 60th birthday at his new "cottage" 900 meters above sea level. A nice stay with nice people, spekemat and enough beer, wine and so on. We love to have wealthy friends who like to invite us to their luxury estates.

From the terrace or balcony we had a great view to the peak Høgevarde altitude 1460, and the mountains around. The mountain colors are beginning to turn to red and yellow, but we still need a frosty night to make the complete swap at that altitude.
Small ponds in the area make great color compositions (and painting motives) although the weather was grey with rain showers on Sunday.
The Autumn is coming closer every day.
