1384: Jadwiga is crowned King of Poland, even though she was a woman. In Poland’s defense, people did used to wear a lot of clothes back then.



1875: Brigham Young University is founded in Provo, Utah… proving you really can have no fun in college for 135 years and counting.



2006: A magnitude 6.7 earthquake rocks Hawaii, causing property damage, injuries, and a brief respite from the Don Ho music you otherwise can’t escape anywhere.
