Krugman: We're Not Broke!
Economist Paul Krugman says America is not broke. The Obama administration is thanking Krugman for that statement, but also asking him to lend the treasury $14 trillion.
March 11th

1824: The United States War Department creates the Bureau of Indian Affairs, mostly dedicated to regulating casinos and cheap cigarettes.
2006: Michelle Bachelet is inaugurated as first female president of Chile. Chile is still waiting for its first male president.
