1664: New Jersey becomes a colony of England, helping the Netherlands avoid hundreds of years of embarrassment.

1912: The Girl Scouts are founded as an organization dedicated to nationwide obesity and door-to-door harassment.

1994: The Church of England ordains its first female priests. Luckily, there is no rough transition as most of them look just like the male priests.
