Giants win Series!
The San Francisco Giants won the World Series in Texas last night. The Giants wanted to win last night so they could rush home in time to vote for legalizing marijuana in California today.

The good news is the Girl Scouts have decided to continue making their uniforms in the USA. The bad news is they're being made by Larry Flynt.

A new study shows only 20% of the cargo headed to the U.S. is checked by security for things that could kill people. The other 80% is the stuff from China that's killing our economy.

So you're wondering what on earth I've shot here? They're just rubber beach sandals, displayed on a rack at a store in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

By shooting really close up and by concentrating on the colours and shapes, there is a semi-abstract quality to the image. Hopefully it's the kind of composition that makes you look closer!

House of the Week

Fell for this house the first time I saw it. It is comfortable and beautiful at the same time. I want to live in this house. The sight of it evokes the smell of home made cookies, fireside games and family time. I think its charm is in its simplicity.

And the front door is fantastic!!
