1575: Henry III of France is crowned king at Rheims and marries Louise de Lorraine-Vaudémont on the same day. It was all a sneaky way to get save on the flowers and the caterer.


1689: William and Mary are proclaimed co-rulers of England... but William insists on ruling the remote alone.


1960: France tests its first atomic bomb... and immediately surrenders to it.


1970: Black Sabbath releases its first album to the public, Ozzy Osbourne also releases his last remaining brain cells into the atmosphere.
