Veranda Art of Design Awards

Paul Wiseman interior (Veranda Art of Design Award recipient), image above via House Beautiful

Yesterday we went to ADAC for the Veranda Art of Design Awards documentary and panel. This year, the Awards honor industry trailblazers whose work is innovative and timeless. It was wonderful event, the panelists were charming and astute, and I especially enjoyed the documentary. I also got to reconnect with Veranda's founding editor Lisa Newsom and her daughter Leslie, which was lots of fun!! Hadn't seen Lisa since her Southern Accents days.

I highly recommend this video, where you can learn about each winner:

Purple, love it or leave it?

Not everyone loves purple, but I do! And it's done so well in Nina Campbell's London residence featured by Veranda. I love everything about the room above, it's traditional yet whimsical, pretty but not too serious.
