1781: Los Angeles, California, is founded by 44 Spanish settlers. Their first order of business is building a wall to keep out all the illegal Aliens from the U.S.

1948: Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands abdicates the throne for health reasons. But she arouses suspicion by failing to produce a doctor’s note.
